The purpose of an M&E plan is to encourage project or program staff to think clearly about what they intend to do in the way of M&E before implementation of a project or program begins, and to ensure those plans are adequately documented.
The goal of the webinar is to understand how an M&E practitioner can design an M&E plan from scratch for their organization. At the end of the training, participants will have understanding and knowledge about;

Profile of the Facilitator.
Arinaitwe Victor is a graduate of B.arts in Development Economics from Makerere University. He also holds a PGD in M&E from UMI and currently pursuing a Masters in Management Science (MMS- M&E) from UMI. He has obtained a specialized training in Social Protection by Transform.
He currently works with the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development under the Expanding Social Protection Program as an RTSU - M&E Officer. He is the Executive Director of a research and evaluation based consultancy firm called Impact Center for Applied Research (ICAR) and also serves as the President of the Young and Emerging Evaluators (YEE - Uganda).
He has experience in building M&E systems for organizations, conducting project evaluations and M&E capacity building. He has conducted several trainings in data collection, analysis, management and reporting which have empowered many M&E practitioners. He also conducted a webinar in November 2021 about the role of M&E is social protection in Africa, a case of cash transfers in Uganda.
